POE 3.6 Slayer The Bringer of Leech Budget - League Starter - Blade Flurry Build

This is a true budget build that will get you deep into maps on self-found gear, which you will then be able to fill out your atlas. The build only really has 2 required uniques that are affordable off self-found currency early in a league and extremely cheap later in a league.

Gems Setup:
- In Bringer of Rain: Blade Flurry - Maim - Chance to Bleed - Increased AOE/Conc Effect
- In 3 link weapon: Herald Of Ash - Hatred - War Banner
- In 3 link weapon: Whirling Blades - Faster Attacks - Fortify
- in boots or gloves: Ancestral Protector - Lightning Golem - Cast When Damage Taken (lvl 13) - Punishment (lvl 16)
- In boots or gloves: Cast when Damage Taken (lvl 13) - Blood Rage (lvl 16) - Phase Run (lvl 15)-Immortal Call (lvl 15)
-In boots or gloves put: Whirling Blades - Faster Attacks - Fortify - Blood Magic
-In a 3 link put: Ancestral Protector - CWDT (lvl 13) - Punishment (lvl 16)

Ascendancy:
Headsman - Bane of Legends - Endless Hunger - Brutal Fervor

Bandits:
Kill all. 2 points are just too good.

Pantheons:
Major God: You need to choose here if you want more & faster leech or protection against stuns.
Minor God: Soul of Tukohama - We stand still to DPS, so this one should be on most of the time.

POE 3.6 Slayer(Champion) - Ngamahu Consecrated Path/Cyclone Build

This build in patch 2.5 based around Slayer's impressive 2H AOE skill set. This build doesn't benefit from the physical damage leech because it only deals with fire damage.

Pros & Cons:
+ Endless Hunger from Slayer tree provide leech effect similar to Atziri's Acuity Gloves
+ You will be able to clear Uber Lab by level 75
+ You are immune to bleed and stun during fights
+ You have 20% culling strike, effectively lowering boss health by 20%
+ Very fast clearing speed due to high AOE radius
+ High life regen making it easy to handle traps in Uber lab
- Leveling to level 55 could be a chore but from there onward it is a breeze
- Elemental reflect can still be an issue (use ruby flask when you run into elemental reflect and you should be fine)
- Can't do no life no mana leech map

Bandits:
Kill All for 2 Passives

Ascendancy:
Endless Hunger -> Brutal Fervour -> Headsman -> Bane of Legends

Pantheons:
Soul of Lunaris (Major God) - Up to 8% physical damage reduction when there are 8 enemies around you
Soul of Ryslatha (Minor God) - Life flask gain 3 charges every 3 seconds

POE 3.6 Slayer(Champion) - Ngamahu Cyclone/Consecrated Path Build

This build in patch 2.5 based around Slayer's impressive 2H AOE skill set. This build doesn't benefit from the physical damage leech because it only deals with fire damage.

POE 3.6 Slayer - League Starter Budget - Starforge Cyclone Build

This is a generic cyclone build. Nothing fancy, and not something that really needs much explanation. It's really fast and mobile, easy to play, has good clear speed and really good sustain thanks to slayer leech.

Pros & Cons:
+ Fast map clearer. (Not the fastest)
+ Slayer leech.
+ Easy to get going
- Cyclone discomfort on bosses.
- Not the greatest single target.

Bandits: Kill all

Ascendancy:
Endless Hunger > Brutal Fervour > Headsman > Bane of Legends

Pantheons:
Arakaali and Shakari.

POE 3.6 Slayer - Freeze the Atlas - Freezing Cyclone Build

This build with/without VP and both were able to get the kills. The Ngamahu's flame builds, while quite strong, didn't really feel like a 'cyclone' build but more of a magma ball build. Ahfack's Crimson Cyclone build was my favorite before this one and I actually have no dislikes.

Pros & Cons:
+ Fast clear speed.
+ Easy League start and scales well as you gain currency.
+ Cyclone kills as you move, no stopping.
+ Frozen things can't hit you.
+ Melee build, see their frozen faces before they shatter.
+ Immune to Stun and Bleed.
+ 3c budget gets you farming maps.
+ No mirror tier or Headhunter required.
+ No corpses left behind to be raised/detonated.
+ Insane leech with VP and Slayer Ascendancy.
- Melee build, gotta get up close and personal
- Min/max End game items will be expensive but not unobtainable.
- Requires one specific unique which makes SSF hard to go full cold.
- Not a face tank build, requires dodging mechanics(a pro for me personally)

Bandits:
Kill them all

Ascendancy:
Head towards Brutal Fervour first and then Headsman.

Pantheon:
General Mapping
Major: Soul of Lunaris. All of the additional mods are great to have when mapping.
Minor: Soul of Ralakesh, Soul of Abberath, Soul of Garukhan are all good for mapping. For Lab runs Soul of Ryslatha.

Bossing
Major: Soul of Solaris. All of the additional mods are good for fighting bosses.
Minor: Soul of Garukhan, Soul of Yugul(with Asphyxia) for fights with cold damage, Soul of Abberath for fights with fire damage, Soul of Gruthkul(with Legius Garhall) for physical damage bosses.

POE 3.6 Slayer Infinite Blazing Flicker Strike  - Stun/Freeze Immunity - True Flicker Build

This build is going to utilize my favorite skill gem in the game, Flicker Strike. The last guide I just finished was my Arctic CoC Hipster Assassin, and I wanted to give my favorite skill in the game some love again. This build uses a Duelist/Slayer for some solid survivability and DPS boosts with two-handed weapons. Grab a snack and your reading glasses and enjoy the Flicker Strike ride.

Pros & Cons:
+ INSANE clearspeed
+ Vaal Pact+Brutal Fervour (overreach) is broken
+ Tankiness (survivability from Slayer’s passives and Vaal Pact keep us healthy and surviving)
+ Extremely budget friendly (only uses two required uniques which cost less than chaos each)
+ 100% hit chance without Lycosidae (by taking Resolute Technique)
+ Can do all content in the game (some content may be more difficult just because of the nature of Flicker Strike and because we only deal elemental damage)
+ Able to face-tank with Flicker Strike until all our enemies are dead
+ Permanent stun/chill/freeze immunity
+ Reliable Frenzy Charge generation and sustain (Flicker Strike forever!)
+ 6K+ life by grabbing life on gear and following the skill tree
+ 90%+ ignite chance to ensure we generate Frenzy Charges every time we Flicker Strike (possibly 100% if you get chance to ignite on jewels)
- NOT a league starter but possible (reason being is because Oro’s Sacrifice is a required item for the build which can only be used at level 67)
- Melee build so we need to stay close to enemies
- Can not run no leech/elemental reflect map mods (some other map mods can be a bit annoying but still possible)
- Terrible for delves (it is possible, but an extreme headache since Flicker Strike can put you in places you do not want such as behind a wall where the darkness will just wreck you)
- Screen seizures (some people cannot handle the screen shaking with the nature of Flicker Strike being as fast as it is)

Bandits:
Kill all of them! We need the extra 2 skill points for the build.

Ascendancy:
1st Lab: Endless Hunger
2nd Lab: Brutal Fervour
3rd Lab: Impact
4th Lab: Overwhelm

Pantheons:
Soul of Arakaali as your Major God.
Soul of Gruthkul as your Minor God.

POE 3.6 Slayer - Tidebreaker Heavy Strike Stunner Build

Overall the build is slightly nerfed in this patch. However, new league experience may have been improved, as I expect a much lower price on life and attack based gears.

Pros & Cons:
+ Stun-locks everything. Which means:
 -fun to watch mobs getting stunned;
 -takes no damage from stunned enemies;
 -simple boss fights without needing boss knowledge;
 -protects the whole party from dying;
-no need to dodge skills or chase fleeing enemies.
+ Solid offense and defense (7000+ life, 6-7 endurance charges). No problem killing any stun immune bosses.
+ Works well on a budget, does not require any luxurious or league specific gears.
+ Easy early league Uber Lab farming.
+ Hardcore is viable.
+ A number of ascendancies, gears, and gems to choose from.

- Clear speed and mobility can be pretty good but not top tier.
- Boss fights with multiple targets or has stun immunity (Uber Elder, Vaal Temple, Phoenix) cannot be face-rolled brainlessly. (You will need to use some brain to do these fights.)
- Rely on leeching and stunning, so it's dangerous to play while lagging.
- Weapon or gem swap is needed for maximum performance.

Bandits:
Berserker: Oak.
Otherwise: kill all to take 2 passive points; Oak is also fine at high levels.

Ascendancy:
- This choice is down to preference; with good gears (several exalts), all 3 versions will be able to stun Shaper and do all endgame content.
- Berserker has the highest DPS and stun capability, as well as high mobility. This ascendancy does have a bad defense, but it can be covered by stunning everything around us.
- Slayer offers many utilities like the unending leech, melee splash, increased AoE, double stun, reflect immunity, etc. It offers a well-rounded experience to people new to this build.
- Ascendant is as fast as Berserker, but with less DPS and no defensive drawbacks.

Pantheons:
All 4 Major God choices are viable.

Soul of the Brine King is what I use the most; it offers great crowd control resistances and is really handy for mapping.
Soul of Lunaris offers a good defense, it's another good choice for mapping.
Soul of Solaris is what I would switch to for certain boss fights (Izaro, Minotaur).
Soul of Arakaali is a must-have if you're running CWDT + Immortal Call setup.
Minor God should be Soul of Tukohama or Soul of Garukhan. The former for defense and the latter for mobility. Some other choices might also be good for certain bosses, like Soul of Shakari for Vaal Temple and Soul of Yugul for Atziri.

POE 3.6 Slayer - Demi's FlyingPurplePeople Lacerate - Ultimate Melee Build

In 3.6 Synthesis Changes, Trees have been updated, we got a slight nerf with Slayer leech but it still works perfectly fine for me in 99% of situations. Labyrinth trap rooms are the only issue I've found.

Bandits:2 Skill points, Kill all.

Ascendancy:

POE 3.6 Slayer - Fast and Fun Physical ST - Spectral Throw Build

This is a guide to my Physical ST Slayer. It is a perfect league starter, can be used in SSF and scales to do all content in the game. It is a lot of fun to play as it is fast and tanky, has good clear speed and easily destroys all bosses.

The guide is very detailed and probably contains answers to all your questions so please read it first before asking. Don't just watch the videos and download the PoB. Actually, read the guide. It WILL help. Also, read the FAQ at the 2nd post.

Pros & Cons:
+ Can easily do all content in the game
+ Cheap, nonmetal gear
+ Fast and fun to play, 0.5-sec Whirling Blades, easy to dodge boss slams
+ 2-button build. We only use ST and WB, everything else is automated
+ 7K life without Belly
+ Huge leech
+ Good clear speed
+ Great boss killing ability
+ Great league starter
+ Suitable for SSF
+ Easy to level, all skills available very early
+ No required gear
+ Not likely to get nerfed (no metal gear or mechanics)
+ Spectral Wolves + HoP Sentinels as decoys
+ Every party loves Slayer
- We have to switch a gem for clear/single target
- Not the current meta million DPS build

Bandits:
Kill all is the best option.

Ascendancy:
Endless Hunger, Brutal Fervour, Headsman, Bane of Legends

Pantheon:

Soul of Solaris because “Take no extra damage from critical strikes if you’ve taken a critical strike recently” is a huge survivability boost.
Soul of Arakaali is another option.
