This guide is not a general MF guide, there are hundreds of those posted on the forums. The goal of this guide is to provide people who want the strongest possible magic find character a blueprint to follow. This is not a T6 burial farming bot but a character capable of cutting through T16 maps quickly, safely and with as much loot as possible. It is damn expensive but well worth it!
Please do not PM on the forums for build related questions, if I am online and you are respectful I will try to help you out quickly, but I can't be spending an exuberant amount of time helping people.

This build aims to combine the newly buffed Cast on Critical Strike Support with the many projectile synergies from the Deadeye ascendancy into a fast-paced mapping character with respectable single target damage.
Pros & Cons:
+ Fast clear speed
+ Respectable bossing dps
+ Active hit-and-run play style
+ Strong sustain
+ Playable on a budget with much room for investment
- Susceptible to stunning hits, can't face tank endgame bosses
Ascendancy:
That's right, this is a non-assassin Cast on Critical Strike build. Though it is certainly possible to play this build as an Assassin, there are several reasons why Deadeye prevails in this specific build.
Rupture is great for this build, as it allows you to apply to bleed with Spectral Throw, enabling more critical strike bonuses as well as life gain on hit. The life gain on hit is quite significant considering the hit rate this build can accomplish, this is one reason to choose Deadeye over Assassin. Keep in mind that these bonuses apply to Ice Spear as well despite its inability to cause bleeding.

This build is designed around using Void Shot. Void Shot is a triggered skill that fires an arrow to the targeted point, which will then explode after a short delay... it's kinda a reskinned version of the exploding shot those crossbow enemies in act 5 fire at you.
An ordinary Void Shot isn't especially impressive, it deals around the same damage as a typical unsupported skill, but since it's not in a socketed piece of gear you've no way of adding support gems to it, which makes it seem underwhelming. However, it scales extremely well on extra arrows, better than any other skill (barrage and molten strike included), because it's extremely easy to get the explosions to overlap... it's like using multi-projectile lightning arrow when the enemy is up against a wall, only you don't actually need the wall. So one added arrow is effectively 100% more damage, for the explosion at least. Or in the case of this build, 4 extra arrows = 400% more damage (6 for 600% more with dying sun up)... and that kinda amplifier is on par with about 5-6 dps support gems.

This guide for Glacial Cascade Totems I farmed up some path of exile currency to give Wander a shot. I immediately fell in love with Kinetic Blast and wanted to take this skill as far as it could possibly go. KB is overall my favorite ability in the game and below you'll find out everything I know about KB and the build I've decided to run with it.
3.6 Updates:
- Added 3.6 Gear Snapshot
- Keeping an eye out for new uniques, synthesized bases, veiled mods, and anything else that might be relevant to this build
Pros & Cons:
+ Fast and Strong. One tap packs. Fly through maps. Kinetic Blast clears everything on your screen... and sometimes things around corners or off-screen.
+ Magic Find. Doesn't take much for this build to be powerful. You can realistically use KB on as little as a 4-link or (most barrage-for-single-target-setups already do this). The combo of speed clearing and stacking Increased Item Quantity (IIQ) make this building ideal for chaining maps.
+ Evasion and Dodge. Without getting too much into the nitty gritty these things are similar but different defensive layers. If you want an in-depth explanation go to the Questions section. The short of the long is that we rarely get hit twice in a row and when combined with a high leech and leech rate we top off before taking another hit.
+ Far Shot Playstyle. This is literally the opposite playstyle of Point Blank. By nature, standing further away from the damage will mean you die less.
- Not a good "all-around" build. This build is not designed to see all the content in the game. I made this build in 3.1 with the goal of being a very good Shaped Vault farmer.
- Have to reroll some map mods. Reflect is not possible and Avoid Ailments is doable but much less satisfying due to Herald of Ice shatters.
- Single Target. Without Barrage and Point Blank bossing can be a pain.
- Tough to League Start with. Rangers are notoriously tough to league start with and inexperienced players might struggle with this build without key uniques like Thief's Torment.
- Have not tested Hardcore. Personally, I wouldn't want to roll a dodge/evasion based character in Hardcore. You'd probably want to go max block or life stacking at which point you're losing out on a lot of quality of life that this build is designed for.
- Can be high budget. It depends on how high of content you want to farm. Balancing life pool, defense, and IIQ will dictate how high of maps you can run. Insane Jewels and Headhunter can min-max this build and you could easily spend over 200 path of exile exalted orb.

The build is lightning based because Lightning Damage gear mods are the highest of the 3 Elements, and also very easy to scale along with Elemental Damage. Lightning Damage can also shock enemies, therefore allowing us to deal even more damage to them.
All content viable, however, some contents are not recommended as they can still be extremely deadly.
Unlike Barrage, Scourge Arrow won't lock you in place while you fire and you don't need to fully utilize the Point Blank Keystone (standing up close and dangerously) to deal a respectable amount of damage to Endgame Bosses. This build was heavily inspired by Mathil and a major thanks to him for enlightening me with this build.
Pros & Cons:
+ Easy and Achievable Items. No League Specific or Legacy Items are needed. All you really need are some Uniques with Life & Elemental Resistances on Rare Gear. No need to stack 10+ Abyss Jewels.
+ Adaptable. You can easily swap out some gear and skills to suit your own play style. e.g Tornado Shot or Lightning Arrow for clearing/mapping.
+ Easy Map Boss Killer. Uber Elder, Shaper and (Shaper/Elder) Guardians are cut and dry, no extra mechanics needed, just need to know their basic mechanics and you'll be fine.
+ 5.6K+ Life. With a bit of investment in gear, you can EASILY achieve a life pool above 5.6K, this build usually ends up around 5.7K to 6.1K of Life.
+ Starter Build Friendly. The template of this build can be a nice starter build for a Temp League, no need to respect or level a new character just to play this build.
+ Beginner Friendly Endgame. Once you get used to the Scourge Arrow mechanics, you can just simply fire away from a safe distance and the Thorn Arrows (from the Spores Pods) does most of the work for you.
- Cannot do REFLECT Maps. You can do Physical Reflect if you don't have Physical Damage on your gear, but Elemental Reflect is a definite NO-GO Zone.
- Cannot do Hall of Grandmasters. Only a few builds are dedicated to doing and farming this map. This build definitely isn't one of them.
- Leech Rate. Unlike Barrage where you fire continuously and maintain a level of DPS and Life Leech, Scourge Arrow can't do that, so you can't face tank Endgame content.

Even though Rain of Arrows as a spell has been forgotten by the majority of a player base, mostly overshadowed by its poison oriented brother in recent leagues, it still offers a great deal of damage and compatibility if you’re willing to commit to it. And since there isn’t a Deadeye build anywhere on the forums even though it works great, I decided to share my variation I came up with combining several other sources in a current league. As a disclaimer, I’m by no means a heavily experienced player and if you have any ideas on improving the build, feel free to throw suggestions at me in the comments. Or flex with your gear, whatever floats your boat. Any feedback is welcome, really. So, with this out of the way let’s dive deep into the build itself.
Pros & Cons:
+ Works just fine on a budget
+ Scales well with the currency invested
+ Great league starter unless you’re looking for a bosskiller
+ Fairly simple gameplay which still requires maintaining buffs and spells

+ Engaging and fun gameplay
+ Cold explosion
- Can’t do elemental reflection maps, duh
- Relatively squishy
- Can’t do an Uber Elder unless you’re a mechanical god
- Might have issues with bosses on a lower budget
- Requires a fair bit of currency to feel comfortable on red tier maps
