Lost Ark: 5 Side Quests You Can't-Miss

Lost Ark is packed with side quests, but players should really prioritize the following in an MMORPG.

Description. Most of this content now falls under the "Side Quests" category. However, these are off-the-beaten-path quests that Lost Ark players should watch as they work through the sheer amount of enjoyable game content.

  1. Side Quests That Give Songs
  2. Additional quests that give gold
  3. Side quests that give tons of sharpening materials
  4. Side quests that give books to engrave
  5. Side quests that give skill points

Top 1. Side Quests That Give Songs

Eventually, let us speak about the Sheet Music and Song in the Misplaced Ark mechanic and just how they relate to lore within the globe of Artesia. Frankly, as much as sailing in the open-world reminds people of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, it's funny that the game also revolves around collecting magical new tunes like Ocarina of Time. Who would have thought that music would play a crucial role in this MMORPG?

So, a substantial portion of those songs is the inevitable reward for more than a hundred most essential story quests. Still, other than half of them can be discovered as a part of an island or side quest. However, unlock some other side quests here. The ones related to the new song rewards are usually chain quests and take quite a bit of time. Just keep that in mind. Anyway, to make things easier, here are the rewards for the songs related to the side quests:

Quest name Quest/NPC location Song Award
Relationship Guru Henri On Leibeheim Serenade of love
Eternal Island Rest Father Dirut On Quiet Island Twilight Requiem
Elegy of Serenity Elegy of Serenity Matthias of Artethine
It's all right, Miss Fair Fairy hides on Lullaby Island Forest minuet
Clean Energy Shangra Yunsun on Shangra Island Song of Spring
Lost Steps (Journey of Awakening) Postman Clemens About Roendel Song of memories

Top 2.  Additional quests that give gold

While Lost Ark gold doesn't seem incredibly important in level one to fiftieth grinds, this resource becomes more common when players start using the Market or Sharpen and start using gold to activate it, not just silver or harmony shards.

Of course, like engraving books and sharpening materials, this is not the only way to get a lot of gold. There are many different ways. And while there are many ways to earn gold in Lost Ark, many of these things are just sitting around as side quest rewards. Savvy gamers will get gold before they even know it, from crafting items within the Stronghold and offering them while in the Industry to farming with certain NPCs. But if they happen to stumble on any side quest with a gold reward, be sure you choose it up.

Top 3. Side quests that give tons of sharpening materials

Honing a piece of gear from +1 to +5 is nothing. Even up to +10 is pretty easy if the player keeps up with Chaos Dungeons, Tower, or Oona Quests. But the sheer amount of grindstones most players try to go from +11 to +15 (to get to item level 600) is astronomical. The enchant starts to succeed at a certain point, and this success rate reaches the middle of level 2.

Even with Chaos Dungeons, Perception Shards from Chaos Dungeons, Abyssal Dungeons, Silmael's Blood Stones, Coin Trader's Pirate Ships, Guardian Raids, Shadow Spire, Doom Spire, and even the Cube, players can easily find themselves entirely out of Sharpening Materials, nothing but failure. They are honing attempts to prove themselves.

Luckily, you'll find many side quests and island quests that give enchant supplies for all three levels. Island quests are pretty easy to find out most of the time and reward most pirate coins inside the game, but there are numerous side quests in Roendal, Jorn, Feitan, and Punica. There are also quite a few to list, and players will honestly do superior after they stumble upon these side quests if they keep an eye around the yellow side quest exclamation mark around the map while completing the story quests.

Top 4. Side quests that give books to engrave

After completing their first Abyssal Dungeon, players may notice that their accessories, such as rings, earrings, and necklaces, may have class engravings built-in, not just the standard combat engravings. For those not in the know, these engravings and a few other combat-related tips and tricks make more difficult end-game content more accessible.

This is when players can start activating their class engravings up to the second and third levels using only the uncommon level. But if they want to give it their all, they'll need rare engraved books to either maximize the engraving activation or get a few different engravings for the first or second activation level.

There are a lot of side quests that also give enough rare books to engrave, so even if the player just bought everything they need from the market, they can still use the side quests below to get more popular books for engravings, sell them and get some of your money back.

For reference, here are a few special quests that reward them, but there are tons more besides these examples:

Job name Location Awards

Song of the people Luther Castle 2 engravings of an uncommon class
Where help is needed Liar Terrace 3 rare class engravings

Top 5. Side quests that give skill points

This is probably the most critical branch to date and contains all of the side quests in The Lost Ark that reward player with talent point potions. After reaching level fiftieth, which doesn't take too long, players stop getting these important skill points. From this point on, each brew of skill points matters, as they all contribute to the possibility of getting more skills for the third tripod, or even the additional levels they can give to skills at level fifty-five and above.

These skill-level potions can now be recognized as rewards for many collectibles such as giant hearts and island tokens. Still, these side quests are a lot faster and the vast, vast majority of them are generally finished promptly or shortly following leveling up 50.

To give any player studying this a way to preserve track of which ones they've completed, here are all the available side quests that give skill point potions as a reward:

The light castle over dark fields adventure quest Eastern Luterra Quest received from Train in Luterra Castle.
eggs in the sky Regular quest Anikka There are no quest indicators to follow in the three parts of this quest, see the manual.

Sunset Awakening Roundel The incredibly long quest that rewards the second awakening skill involves traveling around the map.
