Since the nerf Poet's Pen needs investment in attack speed to get to proc cap. Before it needed 0 investment in attack speed, you actually needed to be careful and not to go over proc CD accidentally. Other OP interactions were nerfed and Volatile Dead itself got a slight nerf too in 3.6. I chose Ascendant because it has the best combination of damage, survivability, and utility for my taste. There are many more possible variations within Ascendant(for example with Might of the Meek and Unnatural Instinct) and with other classes. For example Inquisitor, Trickster, Elementalist, Slayer, Raider, Chieftain. Each has its own pros and cons. In the end, they all should perform fairly similar. One was easier to get attack speed, while the other raw damage. Feel free to adapt. Intro: This is my take on ED-Contagion trickster. It focuses on much more defenses than other ED guides you will find out there while achieving similar to higher damage numbers. While there are many other ED guides out there, the concepts shown here are the ones that prove to work best overall. This build has around 1.1M ED dps, 7k EHP and 2k effective regeneration per second. As any ed build, it relies on Essence drain and contagion for map clear and regeneration. This specter summoner build is designed to give you good defenses, movement speed, and big DPS. It is a cheap league starter that can clear Shaper/Uber Elder. The build can also be scaled and customized to your own liking and playstyle. The 'league starter' is for people who are new to PoE, specter summoners or are just interested in the build. Although Elementalist is not popular build in POE 3.7 League, I personally still like this profession. Storm Brand Elementalist offers excellent clear speed and capable boss damage. Gameplay is smooth thanks to the instant cast nature of the brand recall, as well as the instant damage from Storm Brand. Pros & Cons: + Very good damage with the right gear + Able to do ALL map mods + High damage from the start + Safe playstyle + Very low mainteance, pets almost never die + Easy to change to an ice golem build. + Multiple layers of defense - Min-maxing is expensive - The trade-off for highest DPS variation is much less energy shield - Hit hard by ES nerf - Difficult to cap resists without expensive rares Ascendancy: 1. This is my Freezing Pulse Totem Guide for the Hierophant. Two changes in 3.7 made me explore Freezing Pulse again for Spell Totem: the fix for Freezing Pulse getting blocked by doorways and other simple environmental objects, and the addition of the "Sanctum of Thought" passive skill tree notable which allows for us to easily get 100% reduced effect of Curses on ourselves. So the two big annoyances I previously had with this build are now eliminated, and it has become an extremely powerful and safe build with very few downsides. This build clears extremely well, has more than capable single target damage, completely ignores Curses and is very safe while doing all of it due to the consistent Chill and Freeze effects.  Pros & Cons: + Easy to cap resists + Cheap and Safe + Can go Magic Find + Do it all.  + Mind over Matter.  + Transitions nicely from leveling to mapping without any problems and big investments - Totems are not for everyone. - Have not personall

Toxic rain didn't change in 3.7, but the tree got much more damage, at least 20% more damage total! Toxic rain is stronger than before, and this build is here to show you how. This build is just a mixing up of all the best things PF and TR have to offer. You can realistically expect a nice leveler for a low budget and an Uber Elder Killer with less than 10-12 exalts mid-league. Why not use Herald of Agony? HoA is increasingly better the more mana reservation it has. But even with a 6L, it cannot compare in terms of a number of hits to the 4 totems for withering touch. Also, the spore duration allows an area to keep doing damage even if the enemy moves because you create a floor mantle of spores around enemies. Also, while with HoA you have an autonomous source of damage besides your character, with the 4 totems you have 2 autonomous sources, which can be useful for things like Breach, and for keeping a constant flow of damage while you move around. This build is ED+Bane Build on 3.7 Legion Content since this is currently the second most popular skill for the league. As everyone figured would be the case, this skill combo absolutely wrecks the league mechanic. It's not quite as strong in the multiple army emblem encounters as it is in the map monoliths, but combined with being a strong/cheap league starter, it's a great all-around choice. Pros & Cons: + High Damage Output + Fast Playstyle + The best clear speed for Legion league + Can start with a very low budget  + Can do any map with any mods - Positioning is key and can be annoying at times - Gem Slot Starved - Can be expensive Ascendancy: 1.
